I chose to spend my career working with children over 28 years ago. Although, it has looked different at various times in my life, I have always known that God called me to be an advocate for children.

I began as a classroom teacher in grade levels including Pre-Kindergarten to the college level while teaching at North Central Texas College. I truly believe God moves us in ways that we usually cannot see until years later. It wasn’t long into my career that I knew I wanted to transition into counseling and received my Masters in Counseling and became certified as a school counselor as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
